Porcelain box with a quetzal, a tropical rainforest bird.
"These functional objects are ornamented with beautiful creatures from tropical rainforests. In Quetzal Box the wealth of coloring of the bird contrasts with the matte holder and the varnished details underscoring etching on the lid. It is decorated with lusters and with metallic, iridescent pigments in a wide spectrum of colors. The refined treatment of the boxes and the exquisite detail of the quetzal are matched and combined in a perfect play of contrasts. "
