Portrait of a purebred grey Arabian horse, capturing in porcelain all its distinctive features: finely chiselled bone structure, concave profile, arched neck, relatively level hindquarters and high tail. Made in large format gloss porcelain, with base included. A naturalistic, faithful reproduction of the race. For this work the Lladro artists sought the advice of some of the best and most famous breeders, who wholeheartedly approved of the resulting piece.

The Bella Catrina, conceived in the imagination of the artist Jose Guadalupe Posada, has become part of this rich, popular iconography. This limited edition is richly decorated with colourful motifs characteristic of Mexican tradition and three spectacular flowers carefully modelled, petal by petal.
