Porcelain panther from the Origami collection.

The Origami collection expands with a new addition: a white porcelain panther with a glazed finish, decorated with black floral motifs. A piece that combines feline magnetism with the softness of decorative art. The signature faceted language of Origami, inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding, defines its silhouette with pure, angular lines. Black botanical illustrations are drawn across the panther’s body, as if nature were reclaiming its place on the animal’s skin.

Reproducing a creation like this in porcelain, with its many angles and straight lines, poses an added challenge during the firing process. The natural shrinkage that occurs as the piece passes through the kiln affects this type of composition, as even the slightest variation can distort the sharpness of a line or the clarity of an angle. Unlike organic shapes, geometric structures require an extra level of control to ensure balance and precision. These are creations that, beneath their apparent formal simplicity, push the boundaries of handcrafted porcelain.

Porcelain sculpture created by the Spanish artist Dulk. A work that is a call to action to protect our planet. A call to action to protect our planet through art.

In Ephemeral Treasures, the artist Antonio Segura Donat, known as Dulk, merges his passion for nature with his artistic mastery in collaboration with Lladró.

Ephemeral Treasures is inspired by the fauna of the Asian jungles, transforming Dulk's eponymous painting into a porcelain masterpiece. Each animal depicted, such as the peacock, the tiger, or the monkey, plays a key role in an allegory about the coexistence of species in fragile habitats. Through vibrant colors and meticulous detail, Dulk tells a thought-provoking visual story about the precarious situation of nature. The captivating beauty of the piece draws the viewer in, but as one delves deeper, a more profound message about the fragile state of natural ecosystems is revealed.

Ephemeral Treasures is a composition rich in symbolism. The peacock, with its vibrant feathers full of meticulous details, represents the beauty that nature still preserves, while the hourglass resting upon it serves as a clear reminder of the inevitable passage of time.

The piece, as a whole, is a call to reflection. Through a rich and poetic iconography, Dulk invites us to appreciate the beauty of the natural world and to be aware that, although time moves on, there are still opportunities to maintain and care for those ephemeral treasures that nature offers us.

Limited edition porcelain jar with figures and decoration in relief, with a wide range of greenery recreating the tropical hues of a virgin jungle paradise.

As if it were a canvas, the artists of the Lladró High Porcelain workshop have depicted on the surface of this jar - the largest created by the brand to date - an earthly paradise in a virgin forest. It is said that the Indians in the virgin forests of the Amazons have numerous different words to name the number of shades of green in their surrounding landscape. Lladró has also employed the most exotic greens in its palette to decorate this limited edition, which represents a landscape inspired by the collection of paintings by the French painter Henri Rousseau (1844-1910) dedicated to the portrayal of an exotic world full of dreamlike visions. What most stands out in this work is the complex treatment of depth. It is with good reason we have a vase with the most planes Lladró has created to date. Men and women rise up in relief in the first phase, followed by lush vegetation and animal species of the most varied species and origins. It is a paradise born of the imagination, with an extraordinary decorative and evocative power.
