A very elegant piece combining a lady and a horse. She is dressed in the usual classic attire for riders at competition: high black boots, long dark frock coat, riding breeches, top hat and white gloves.The saddle is placed on a grey pad to protect the animal’s back. The horse does not intend to portrait a specific breed, it can be any warm blood. But it appears beautifully well groomed for the exhibition. The mane is artistically braided for the equestrian event. Classic porcelain with the traditional colors of Lladro, with intense dark blues for the attire and brown for the horse.

Freedom has been traditionally depicted in the guise of a woman. "Allegory of Liberty" a piece from 1991 also uses the female figure to express that universal value.
