This figurine reflects all the grandeur of the Carnival in Venice, a celebration of the rebirth of light and the end of winter.
Elegantly attired, the lady welcomes the mysterious gentleman at the foot of the stairs. Hidden behind a mask he greets her with a courteous bow. Glazes have been used in the decoration of this piece, so the finish is neither smooth nor uniform in color, instead offering a vast wealth of textures and chromatic effects making each piece a unique and unrepeatable work of art.

Automobile pioneers were authentic artists at times, creating innovative machines that were both useful as a means of transport and also creations to be admired for their beauty and artisan finished. Many of those first vehicles are still roadworthy today, much to our delight. The beauty of antique cars has also captivated Lladró artists.
This is why the pioneers of these delicate recreations in porcelain assemble each piece by hand in the "workshops" of the City of Porcelain, in Spain.

Tamaño: 35x34 cm

Year 1986
Limited Edition - 3000 pieces

A simple tale, a little dog attracting the attention of three ladies, was the initial spark for this baroque composition executed by the perfectly balanced eye of Lladró sculptors. It's by no means easy to know how to place the three young female protagonists in absolute harmony with their three parasols and their skirts billowing in the breeze. The result is a porcelain figurine which offers the beholder innumerable points of view, each and every one as delicious as the others.
