A young mother is holding her baby in her arms, wrapped in a blanket. The woman's figure is idealized, with synthetic features: her hair tied back, a straight full dress. In turn, it conveys the tenderness of the scene, with the woman's eyes on the baby and a wrapping and embracing posture. Its pure lines and synthetic modeling give this piece a highly distinctive style. The satin-finish matt used ensures a smooth feel which invites one to hold the piece as in an embrace.
