The magic of the lithophane is based on the play of light with the translucent quality of porcelain. When the inside is lit up, it casts a warm light on the whole room and brings out the decorative etching, producing surprising relief effects on the surface. This piece depicts a gallant scene from classic Hindu literary tradition. Ideal as a romantic gift or for a fan of oriental culture. Handcrafted in Spain.
