These imperial warriors, which have gone on to become part of pop culture, have been faithfully depicted in porcelain in minute detail. Made in glazed white porcelain, black was chosen as the main color for the decoration with some touches painted in grey tones. This creation offers a contemporary vision of Minnie, Mickey Mouse’s sweetheart. The point of departure for the creative approach is animated cartoon techniques based on black ink drawing on a white ground. So, black is the only color used in the decoration of Minnie, together with a few touches of golden luster applied in the ribbon in her hair, her shoes and the tip of her nose. The end result is an unmistakable and charming Minnie who has swapped her usual red dress for a white dress with black polka dots rendered with utmost care and precision.
