The hundreds of scales covering the dragon’s skin are minutely hand-painted one by one. Limited edition sculpture, inspired by Greek mythology, of a woman with wings on her outstretched arms, in gloss finish white, blue and gold lustre porcelain.

Winged Fantasy is a porcelain sculpture inspired by Greek mythology. The rich jewels and clothing suggest the figure is a goddess. The wings springing from her open arms represent freedom and the movement of dance. The light skin tones are in striking contrast to the colourful clothing. There is an interesting matte finish with high-gloss touches throughout the sculpture, and a mother-of-pearl effect on the necklace. On the wings, glazes in several tones, some with a metallic finish, and gold lustre contribute to the solemnity inspired by the figure and evoke the plumage of a peacock. Three years in development, it took over 70 man-hours to paint, split among three people. The challenge of this creation was to maintain the balance and pose of the wings and ensure they did not shrink in firing. For contemporary settings, Winged Fantasy is a Limited Series, available only to 250 people worldwide, so its value should increase over time. It includes a High Porcelain certificate which certifies the authenticity of the piece. The ivory-coloured and blue base is an integral part of the piece. Made in Spain.

This matte white porcelain sculpture captures the essence of Odin, the majestic king of the gods in Norse mythology, ready to fight against the forces of chaos that threaten the world.

Every detail of this piece has been meticulously crafted. From the modelling of the anatomy to the ornamentation and the application of metallic lusters, this creation conveys a heightened realism, exemplifying consummate control over sculptural and decorative techniques in porcelain.

A particular mention is deserved for the expressive detail of Odin’s face, marked by a scar over his left eye, a symbol of the sacrifice he made at Mimir’s Well to gain infinite wisdom.

Porcelain creation inspired by the Dragon, one of the 12 signs in the Chinese zodiac.

Baby Dragon is the opening piece in the Baby Animals collection, a version of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac created from a more naïve, tender-hearted, and endearing perspective. Worth underscoring in this interpretation of the only mythological animal in the Chinese zodiac is the sculptural and ornamental work, which recreates the morphology and scales of the dragon’s skin with high precision. White was chosen for the whole decoration, with the sole exception of the eyes which are painted a deep black color in order to heighten the expressiveness. Another interesting feature is that the piece alternates areas of glazed and matte scales, an effect achieved by eliminating the glaze with a small soft sponge. This application of a very gestural technique with tiny strokes means that each Baby Dragon creation has a special unique finish. In China, people born under the sign of the Dragon (1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024) are called dragon babies and are believed to be imaginative, kind, vital and energetic.
